Chico Wedding Photographer: Mark and Emily Tease...

What an incredible weekend. So thankful to be a part of Mark and Emily's wedding. It was really wonderful to see friends and family come around and support these high school sweet hearts. Here is just a tease of our day with them. Thank you so much Mark and Emily. Happy honeymooning friends. Soak up that hawaiian sun for us :) K and K

PS: You are a stunning couple. Love how happy you are together!

Chico Photographer: Carsten

Well, I happen to love this little man. He is the sweetest. And his Mom, well she is the best of sisters and best of friends to me. What would I do without her? About a month ago, we realized that Carsten is growing up so quickly and we needed to freeze time for just a few moments. So that's what we did. Last Friday. There is something so awe inspiring about capturing my own family. I tend to scream with delight as I edit each photo and say things like, "isn't he the cutest boy you have ever seen?" (Really, I am in my office, all alone, saying these things...) And that's how I feel -- Carsten is just the cutest!

We love you so much family! Thanks for being so amazing and supportive and just the greatest of friends. K and K

Like I said, he's the cutest!

They are just the best. Together.

Love you guys! You have such a sweet marriage!

"YOU WILL NEVER REGRET LOVING THIS MUCH" -anonymous

We stood in the kitchen last night, tears streaming down our faces as we watched the following video of Ian and Larissa. Their story quieted us; I think it stunned us both and made any conflict we are facing a little less trivial. We actually didn't say much to each other after watching it, but I know we were thinking the same thing. Do we share this kind of selfless love? What kind of story is our marriage telling -- is it pointing to God?

So we share this video with you, praying it will stir your heart. Praying that our marriages and our love for one another will change the world.

Be inspired and grab some tissues friends. We would love to hear your thoughts after watching this story as well. So please feel free to share comments below.

Totally Humbled, K and K

Chico Engagement Photographer: Leon and Maritza

Maybe it is our shared love for Starbucks, or the fact that Leon and Kenny could talk about espn all day long; whatever it is, we feel like these two could be long lost friends :) Leon and Maritza are both the nicest of people. They love to laugh and they make us laugh -- and we could listen to their stories for hours. It is people like these two, who make our job SO great. I just have to say that when they chose us to photograph their wedding next month, we could have hugged them! That is how excited and honored we are to tell a bit of their story.

Leon and Maritza, well, you are just fabulous! Loved working with you both!

Thank you SO much, K and K

Maritza, you are beautiful!

Leon, you are such a stud! Thanks for being such a good sport!

She is stunning...

I think Kenny would look good in these vans. And these wedges are just amazing...

Pretty sure they were laughing here as I snapped as quickly as possible, because I was scared for my life that a train would get us all...

And just like that, a train decided to pass us by.

You guys rock!

Seriously, are they the most fun people ever?

You guys are awesome! Thanks so much Leon and Maritza!

Chico Photographer: Carsten Tease...

To say we love this little man is an understatement. It was so much fun on Friday to capture my sister and her sweet boys. Carsten is growing up so quickly and we wanted to freeze time, for just a few moments anyway. Don't worry Mom, I will post more photos soon :)

Chico Engagement Photographer: Ben and Lauren

Every time we finish photographing an engagement session, two things happen: Our cheeks hurt from smiling and we feel like we have new friends. And this is how we feel about Ben and Lauren.

Perhaps it is that they seem like they are best friends and we can relate to that. Perhaps it is because they are some of the nicest people we know. Or maybe it is just because they are so down to earth and we could talk for hours. Whatever it is, we like these two. And they are definitely perfect for each other!

Thank you so much Ben and Lauren. We are more than honored to be a part of your wedding day. You are the best of people with the best of personalities. We are so blessed to know you both.

Much Love, K and K

You two... Just amazing!

Lauren, you are stunning...

Ben, you are such a good sport. Seriously.

Cheers you two! We can't wait for your wedding!

Chico Product Photographer: Boss Manufacturing

I was in Hawaii when I received the email from Julie. She wanted to set up some of her products (which include cake stands, buffet stands and more) and have us photograph them. Let's just say, we were excited. Being wedding photographers who LOVE details, this kind of stuff is right up our alley. And when we decided to set up her products on the same weekend as the Chico Event Center Open House, everything just came together. We wanted to feature one of their latest designs, which included these stands for cake pops. If you are thinking of serving cake pops at your wedding or event, these are perfect :)

Boss Manufacturing is based locally out of Orland and each stand is custom made. I would highly recommend them to any bride or event professional. Julie and her team are great to work with, and just the nicest of people who go the extra mile for their clients. You will feel spoiled working with them.

Thank you Julie for giving us the opportunity to photograph some of your amazing work!

Julie, had also partnered with Bedazzle my BonBons for this set. Kenny and I were able to taste these unique and amazing cake pops at the end of the session. Let's just say we may have eaten more than one.

And because we photographed these products during the weekend of the Chico Event Center Open House, I couldn't help, but photograph a few of the table settings that other vendors had put together. Love this theme.

Chico Wedding Photographer: Ephraim and Lacey

It was just a couple Tuesdays ago when I received a call from Ephraim and Lacey. I remembered exactly who they were: We had met at the Bridal Show last January (Kenny and Ephraim became instant friends). At the time, the two were unsure on their budget, so we waited. And when they called us on the week of their wedding, we were ecstatic. We moved a couple things around on our schedule, and we were set. And let's just say, we are SO glad it worked. Because we love these two. They are the kind of people that make you feel like friends. As if we had known each other for years. Ephraim is a firefighter and a surfer, which totally follows suit in his personality. Lacey is a details person, sweet and absolutely radiant on her wedding day. They are a perfect together.

The wedding day was warm, but not sure it could have been any better for these two. Thank you so much for inviting us into your celebration. You have the nicest of friends and family. You have style. You make us all laugh and most of all, you have a love for each other that inspires others. We are honored to know you both. Thank you, thank you.

Much Love, K and K

Lacey, you are absolutely gorgeous...

Ephraim, you rock!

Loved that everyone was at the Hotel Diamond, and that Kenny caught some of these moments before we headed to the White Ranch

The girls details were awesome

Loved these boys too...

The ceremony and reception were held at White Ranch Events here in Chico. Their reactions upon seeing one another was amazing...

The details were DIY, and I think they looked amazing. Loved the thought and simplicity that went into the day.

Only a glimpse of the toasts, which always make us laugh and cry... at the same time...

We love working with Snapshots Photo Booth at weddings. Even though we are photographing the event, a photobooth lets people do their own thing and provides the most fun of memories.

Epraim and Lacey, you two are so great!

Lacey's Dad joked with us all day about breaking our camera, but I'd say quite the opposite based on this photo.

And this is just the beginning to a great dance party...

Chico Engagement Photographer: Leon and Maritza Tease...

Well, it's Monday, which means a day off for Kenny and I. So excited to soak up this amazing weather and just have a day with no plans. And as for last night, we loved spending it with these two! Leon and Maritza are the nicest people. They are totally down to earth and we are absolutely honored to be a part of their wedding day next month. Can't wait to share more from their engagement session.

Happy Monday friends! Soak up some sun for us! K and K

Chico Photographer: Robert and Sarah

When Sarah wrote asking about some photos to capture this season of her life, I knew I wanted to work with her and Robert. They are dating and both will graduate from Chico State this spring. It was perfect timing for some photos. Neither of them have ever had professional photos taken, but you can't tell. They have tons of style and joy, which we definitely wanted to capture. Their passion for life was evident. They are simply wonderful people.

Robert and Sarah: Congratulations on this season of your life. You are amazing people with the world in front of you. We can't wait to see what is in store for both of you. Thanks for being new friends and giving us the opportunity to show the world your beauty.

Much Love, K and K

Dear Sarah, you are gorgeous!

Robert, you are awesome! Thanks for rocking your style for us.

And well, the two of them together are just as amazing!

Chico Engagement Photographer: Ben and Lauren Tease...

I know what you all are thinking: There have been a lot of teases on my blog lately. I know, I know. What a fantastic, crazy life.Of course, this also means that I am now officially on lock down -- in my office, jamming to the best of James Morrison and getting this editing done. And this is where I will be all week :)

As for this couple -- I don't even know where to start. Only that they are an amazing couple, destined to do great things in this world. together.

Ben and Lauren, you are so sweet! Thank you so much for laughing with us yesterday. We are blessed.

There will be many more photos to come... K and K

Chico Wedding Photographer: Ephraim and Lacey Tease...

Seriously, we may have the best job in the world. So blessed to work with Ephraim and Lacey this weekend. They were married at the beautiful White Ranch here in Chico among family and friends. They are both stunning and the nicest of people. Much love to you two! Have such a great time on your honeymoon! K and K

Chico Portrait Photographer: Audrey

Last Friday, as the rain poured down in Chico, we were inside photographing this sweet girl. She is so cute. The perfect addition to her family. I also love her parents, of which her Dad happens to be our dentist. If you are looking for a dental practice, you should definitely go to Dr. Mccomb. Seriously; their team of people is simply the best! Well I am headed to Richvale tonight for an engagement session. SO excited to work with another amazing couple!

Have a great Wednesday everyone! K

Chico Photographer: Sarah Tease...

Somehow, we get to work with the best people in the world. Feeling blessed to have met and worked with Robert and Sarah on Sunday. I can't wait to share more of their beautifulness :) Happy Tuesday Friends! It's going to be one crazy, amazing week!

(I know this is just a photo of Sarah for now, but don't worry much more to come... )

Chico Photographer: Maddie Tease...

Just spent a little time with this sweet girl. Maddie will have her First Communion here very soon, and we wanted to capture all that comes with that. Here is just a little tease from our work together :) LOVE her smile and her laugh!

And tomorrow is Friday! It's going to be a good weekend!

Chico Wedding Photographer: JP and Karen

It was very last minute. In a matter of days, JP and Karen's life had changed a lot. JP was getting deployed and would be out of the country during their set wedding date. And so, they were married, months before they had planned. And even with everything being last minute, there was something simple and beautiful about their ceremony. It was just them, and a few family and friends gathered at White Ranch. There was no wedding planner, no formal tuxes or decor. It was about the people. It was about the covenant that JP and Karen were making. It was about the support of their families. It was about love.

And I was honored to be a part of these brief, lifechanging moments.

Thank you both for sacrificing so much for our country. You are beautiful people.

Much Love, K and K

A beautiful moment between Karen and her Dad.

Chico Photographer: Megan

We first met Megan at a wedding this past November. She caught the bouquet. And one thing I will never forget, she was full of life and joy. When I met with her two weeks ago, the same kind of energy and happiness radiated from her. She is confident, in the Lord. She trusts God has a plan for her life. She is content. And I loved working with her.

Megan is graduating with her Masters Degree in teaching. She is a natural born leader and I know God has really big plans for her. She will be influencing the younger generations for years to come.

Thank you Megan. Thank you for being an example to young people and to me. The way that you love God and love life is contagious. You are sweet!

Much Love, K

Megan, you shine sister!

Megan, you are beautiful!

One of my favorite groups of photos all day... Isn't she just amazing?

Megan, thank you again... You are great!
