They were married in the church where Jonathan works as a pastor.
Some people have asked me what our life is really like now. My best answer: It's different; more full and very rich.
From the moment I wake up, there is always something to do. I no longer go into my office undistracted for hours at a time. There aren't many quiet moments. But there are many, many sweet moments. My iphone is full of beautiful moments, mostly pictures of Parker. I used to think I was busy before, but my definition of busy has changed. Right now, I am typing this, with a newborn in my arms. Who knew that you could stare at a child's face for so long. Some people said I might not ever want to work again, but I still love my job. I am more inspired today than I was yesterday. There are days of great awe and amazement. There are days of tears and chaos. There are days of failure. Tomorrow will probably look a lot different than today. My home isn't near as clean as it used to be. We still eat grilled cheese at least once a week. We still laugh a lot and have dance parties often. Kenny is still my best friend, I think our love is stronger now. Every day, I am reminded that I can't do all of this without God's grace. And every night, I go to bed really, really tired, but totally thankful.
Our life has changed, it's different, but I wouldn't go back for a moment. ever. I just know that all of this is a gift.

Every year, we stand amazed by the people and stories we were able to capture. We are amazed at the power of a moment. And while this is nowhere even close to all of the most powerful moments we shared this year, it is a few of our favorites...

And just like all good things, they come to an end. So here's goodbye to an incredible 2012 wedding season. We couldn't be more honored to work with so many of you. You touched our hearts this year.
And your photographs will keep inspiring us for years to come....
We woke up to rain. And not the kind of rain that just spritzes your face, but the kind of stormy, sideways rain that no one dreams could ever happen on their wedding day. And so we prayed. And I believe God totally heard us :) Because anytime that we needed to be outside on Cody and Whitney's wedding day, it was like the rain would just stop. It was truly a miracle.
Cody and Whitney came together, not only as a couple on their wedding day, but as a family. And not a dry eye was in the house. We all cried and celebrated with Cody and Whitney. Their zeal for life and love for their family is so evident. They are the kind of people that make you laugh -- and laugh some more. They are the kind of people with huge hearts -- oozing with generosity and acceptance.
And we were so honored to document this day. To see so many beautiful moments -- to capture the tears and the laughter. What an amazing day.

We watched this last night, for the first time, in quite awhile. And I think it was good timing. Because even though this video is about our story, it reminds us that we really get to be a part of capturing history: Some of the biggest moments in a person's life.
So we wanted to share our story with you again because it is a big part of our brand. And it is a big part of our brand because it is truly what we believe.
We know that love changes people. Never is a person loved, and left unmoved.
And so our work is not just a way of making a living. It is not just a profession. And it is not about us at all. It is about you. And this work is something that we feel passionate about, because we are documenting the kind of things that matter most in life. Your stories are powerful.

Oh my goodness, I am so excited to share this wedding with you. And we have been super blessed to have this wedding featured on Style Me Pretty today. Eric and Jill were married at the Chardonnay Golf Club in Napa this summer. The weather gave us everything on their wedding day --Sunshine, rain and storm clouds. All of it making for a beautiful wedding day.
Jill and Eric met in high school and so you can imagine that they have lots of memories and growing up that they have done together. So many friends and family gathered around them to celebrate. And as they celebrated, Eric and Jill spent a lot of their time serving their guests. These two are so thoughtful. They are super kind. I don't know how many times Jill said thank you to us. Are you kidding, please let us thank you :) That is the kind of people that they both are -- super sweet and grateful and world changers :)

Saturday was an amazing wedding day. So blessed to be a part of this touching and emotional day and celebrate alongside JP and Karen. More so soon... along with their sweet, sweet story.
Kevin and Denise were married on a beautiful fall day here in Chico. Seriously, I love fall. It's my new favorite season here in Chico and it's my new favorite wedding season too :) We met Kevin and Denise last year and felt extremely honored that they would ask us to be a part of their wedding day. They are both very sweet people, with quiet spirits. They complement each other so well and it was a very special weddding day.
One of the most meaningful moments of the day, came during the ceremony. As Denise walked down the aisle towards Kevin, both Kevin and his daughter cried in unison. Together, everyone was full of emotion and joy at this beautiful moment. It is times like these where we continue to stand in awe of what we get to do.
So, thank you Kevin and Denise. Thank you for choosing to work with us, for trusting us to be a part of your wedding day. We are blessed to know you. Much Love, K and K

Rob and Jessica were married on a gorgeous fall day here in Chico. And being a part of their wedding was such an honor for us. Their style translated into a formal, yet really personal wedding day, where family and friends from many different parts of the country came to celebrate. Jessica is a very ambitious and sweet person. Rob is the kind of guy who makes you feel welcome -- he is just really nice. And you can tell that they really love each other. They are good friends -- and they have a lot in common. It was so much fun to hear stories about their life together on the East Coast.
Thank you to both families for inviting us in and letting us be a part of this wedding. We were blessed to watch the day unfold alongside all of you.

At the end of the evening, the families had put together a beautiful slideshow for everyone...
Mike and Andrea are high school sweethearts. But they are more than this, they are perfect for each other. Mike plays baseball for the minor leagues while Andrea is his biggest cheerleader while also working for Enloe. They have a beautiful life together filled with lots of family and friends. Andrea is sweet and you can tell, people adore her. Mike is the kind of guy that makes anyone feel welcome. When we were asked to photograph their wedding last year, we may have gotten just a bit excited. Andrea envisioned a pretty formal wedding followed by a really fun party. I promise, this is exactly how the day flowed. Everything from Andrea's dress to Mike and his boys, was beautifully put together. And the reception couldn't have been more fun and crazy: They packed out the Civic Memorial Building in downtown Willows. People laughed and danced and just enjoyed the evening to the fullest. Special Times Catering did an amazing job putting together the spread for the reception and making sure that everything was in perfect place before any guest arrived.
So thank you Mike and Andrea for staying true to yourselves. Thank you for giving us candid moments to catch all day long. Thank you for being so kind and open armed toward us. We feel like friends and we find that a huge honor.
